Intended Use: Our products provide safe, comfortable amplification for mild to moderate hearing loss in adults that are healthy and 18 years of age and older.
Warnings: Our hearing aids are for adults only. They are not for use by anybody under 18 years of age.
If you have any of the symptoms below, you should consult a physician before using our products:
* Excessive wax build-up or a history of wax build-up * Any type of pain or discomfort in your ear * If you have experienced drainage from the ear within the past 3 months * Any blockage of the ear canal or lasting ear infections * If you have a visible deformity of your ear * If you hearing loss suddenly occurred * A loud uncomfortable ringing sound in your ear * If you are experiencing dizzy spells
Important Medical Information: Hearing loss can be the symptom of a more serious medical condition or the result of an excessive wax build-up. A physician can treat these conditions. If you have not already done so you should consult a licensed physician (preferably one who specializes in diseases of the ear) to rule out any of these medical concerns. Physicians who specialize in diseases of the ear are often referred to as ENTs, otolaryngologists, otologists, or otorhinolaryngologists.
In accordance with good health practice, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration recommends that a person with hearing loss have a medical evaluation by a licensed physician before purchasing a hearing aid. However, federal law permits a fully informed adult to waive this recommendation.
If you are buying a Rosebud for someone else: Please remind the person who will be wearing the aid to first read all of the packaging materials including the medical information, warnings and detailed instructions prior to using the product.They must also sign the waiver and send it in.
